Description of Holiday Villa

Monte da Vinagra is located in the beautiful region of the Alentejo. Situated in a rural, pastoral setting surrounded by farm land, orchards of cork trees, sunflowers, and vineyards. The villa is a wonderful example of the stately homes that were once owned by the old aristocratic Portuguese families.

Interact with the abundant animal life ranging from chickens to horses that are simply sprawling around carefree, and which guests are welcome and encouraged to enjoy. A little paradise for both children and grown ups, a continuous learning experience for all, and one which the city cannot offer.

Our large farmhouse,Monte da Vinagra, is located 2.5 kms from the town of Viana do Alentejo. In Viana you have all local amenities, local bakery, large supermarket, tourism office offering free internet access, churches, pottery shops, restaurants, post office.
Monte Vinagra is just 25 kms from Evora, the UNESCO world heritage protected Roman city.

Approximately two hours from Faro airport.
Evora has a small regional aerodrome.
