Chalet Alpenrose is situated close to the Goldeck Resort. It lies nestled in the village of Insberg. The nearest town of Ferndorf is only a few minutes down the hill and the main town of Spittal is only 10 minutes away. It has great gyms, spas, massages, stylish shops and restaurants. Both towns lie in the State of Carinthia.
Goldeck-Panoramastrasse in Zlan-Stockenboi, is one of the most magnificent attractions (ranking among Europe’s most beautiful mountain roads) and offers breathtaking views of the Carinthian mountains and valleys.

Alpenrose, once again is unique in that it sits conveniently between a range of winter ski resorts.
One of the closest resorts to Alpenrose is Goldeck am Millstätter See, located 13.1kms from the chalet and is situated directly by Spittal. It’s spacious free ride area, covering over 50 hectares, makes the Goldeck resort perfect for all free-ski fans and boarders. After familiarising yourself with the slopes, why not try out the longest downhill black-run in the Alps at 8.5 km and 1,200 m altitude difference. This is not for the faint hearted !
