A delightful 2 bedroom Thatched Cottage,with lounge,kitchen/dining room,shower room on ground floor, rear garden with Hot - Tub with adequate parking on the drive. There is 1 double bedroom on the ground floor with french-doors leading to the garden and patio. On the first floor is a twin bedroom. With a sofa-bed in the lounge, sleeping 4-6 persons is possible. The kitchen is fully fitted with American Fridge-Freezer,full size cooker,seperate elec.hob..Dishwasher,Washing Machine and Tumble drier. The cottage is situated on main road to Canterbury and the bus stops just outside. Local pub with food takes just 5 minutes by walking. There is plenty to see and do in Canterbury and surrounding areas. Train station 15 mins by car, with direct services into London. Whitstable is famous for its Oysters and is only 15 mins by car,with lots of very nice Restaurants and quaint shopping streets near the Harbour, where you can buy fresh fish and seafood,also different food stalls on Sunday mornings, which is worth a visit. Canterbury has all the shops you could wish for along with museums, a theatre, and of course the Catherdral itself. Folkestone and Dover are approx 40mins drive, with Ferries, and the Channel Tunnel.You will find lots of lovely coastal areas to explore around the Kent coast. [Hide Description]

Booking Procedure
A deposit of £100 is payable on booking, and the balance on arrival ,or by cheque 14days prior to start of holiday.....Arrival time 3pm departure 10.30am....There is also a £200 Refundable Security Payment,which is refunded within 7 days of departure providing the cottage is left as you find it.There is also an Optional last day cleaning payment of £50 if you would like the caretakers to `clean up` after you leave the property,ie if you have to leave very early ie 6am for example.

Towels and bedlinen are no longer supplied.The property is cleaned before being let to guests,and guests are expected to leave the cottage as they find it, any extra cleaning/damage will be deducted from the security deposit,which is refunded within 7 days after departure.If you wish to have `a last day clean` done for you, it can be arranged at a small extra charge with the caretakers.This is much preferred by guests coming from abroad and having to leave at 6am for example, and not have time to do it themselves,but this is an optional service. |
