Le Carroir is a traditional three storey French town house situated in the very heart of the medieval town of St Aignan sur Cher. It retains many original features including tiled floors and an oak staircase. Accommodation comprises, on the ground floor, living room with dining table, TV and DVD and kitchen corner, (with oven, hob, fridge freezer and washing machine), shower room with wc . on the first floor kingsize double bedroom and single bedroom on the top floor twin bedded room. It has electric heating. This house has a small sunny garden a few steps from the front door which is sheltered and private. A garden hut houses garden furniture and a BBQ. Being in the centre of the old part of town you are within easy walking distance of all shops, bars and restaurants, the cinema, water sports, swimming pool and the town's chateau and church. The Loire Chateaux, Aquariums, Futuroscope, the historic city of Blois with its stunning chateau, museums, cathedral, abbey and basilica, the royal town of Amboise with its chateau, medieval streets and pageants, the medieval town of Loches, and Bourges with renowned cathedral and stained glass windows.
Being the Garden of France opportunities abound for wine tasting at local vineyards, enjoying local produce such as cheese, frequenting local markets, cooking or eating out at the many excellent restaurants.
