The Friendliest place we have ever stayed in
Tralee Bay Holiday Village
16 members of our family stayed here for the second week of Easter 2010 to celebrate mums 70th Birthday. Ages ranged from 1 - 70 and we all had an amazing time. The area is absolutely stunning! Fantastic beach next door and good food and service at the pub on site. Everyone was soooo friendly and they love tourists! The locals even flashed and waved at us as they passed in cars. Recommend Dingle for the dolphin boat trip - it is exhilarating! - drive there by O'conor pass for stunning scenery. Ask Barrie the owner to give you directions to the nearby secret oasis. Lakes and forest well hidden off the main road - you will think you are in canada. A stunning serene place we left to the last day and wished we had gone earlier. A must is a trip to any local pub offering traditional irish music. Barrie's dad drove most of us there in his mini bus for a great price so we all got to sample the whisky!!
Also drive along the Dingle coast to Inch beach - a huge beach - with cars and campervans parked on it! with a stunning view of the mountains - see my photo!!
