Description of Holiday Guesthouse / B & B

The Villa San Pietro Bed and breakfast is a recently restored 1600 Villa retaining all of its original character. It has belonged to the family since 1657! It is located in the historical centre of Montichiari (Brescia) by Lake Garda in a particularly calm location and it is run by a young Italian-French couple. Anna and Jacques Ducroz shall be delighted to welcome their guests in five very large and comfortable rooms with ensuite bathroom , antiques, air conditioning for the summer and central heating for the winter months, with independent entrance. At the guests’ disposal there are two frescoed ceiling living room with satellite TV, an area with a fridge, a private parking, a secluded garden with deck chairs and tables, a marbled-columned loggia where you can read a nice book in the summer nights.It is the ideal location to do daily trips to visit the major art cities in Norther Italy such as: Verona, Mantua, Cremona, Venise, Treviso, Milan and relax at the beaches on Lake Garda. We are located in Montichiari by Lake Garda. In our hometown there is an airport connected to London Stansted by Rynair called Verona-Brescia airport. You cam land in Bergamo airport at 60 km ( Ryanair or Easyjet) or in Villafranca Verona at 40 km or in Milan airports at 100 km. What to see: Montichiari is a lovely middle age town in the province of Brescia and it offers the 1700 Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the 1100 Abbey of San Pancrazio, the very elegant 1800 Theatre, all in wood, the History Museum, the Archaelogical Museum and the 1800 Castle Bonoris with its own Park. It is the ideal location to visit:Brescia and its Museums, Churches and Castle; the Lake Garda, Mantova and its Renaissance Gonzaga Palaces, Verona and its Arena lyric concerts, Milan, its La Scala Theatre and the Duomo, the Botanical Garden and the Middle Age village of Borghetto, Venise and its beauties, Vicenza and the Palladian Villas.

There are many 18 hole golf clubs around our home: Arzaga Golf Club and Gardagolf are within 15 km and we will be happy to advise about rental fees. We are member of a local Golf club and will be happy to give you all information.

Skiing Facilities

The closest ski resort is at 1 hour and a half.

Beaches / Coast

The Lake is at 12 km: very clean water and nice beaches!
