All our rooms are no smoking, but guests may smoke outside if they wish. We do not except any children under the age of 16yrs.

Bathroom Facilities: We have 6 bedrooms all en-suite with showers. There is also a WC in the Sauna, Restaraunt & Therapy room.

Reception Rooms: We have a guests bar/lounge reception area.

Outdoor: We have a patio area outside the twin room. There is also lots of patio area aroung the pool. Outside the main house we have a patio area were you can have drinks or sit and have lunch. We have a Cromotherapy and music therapy Sauna.

Pool: The swimming pool 12 x 6 metres. It is complete with hydromassage (like a Jacuzzi) with spectacular mountain veiws.

Shambala Retreat is not a place suitable for children, we do not except children under the age of 16yrs. We are situated on a slope so it is not a suitable location for anybody with walking disabilities. We can provide a taxi service for guests who do not wish to hire a car.

Shambala Holistic Retreat & Health Spa, this is 'Paradise on Earth' for all our visitors. Reiki & Life Coaching Courses are available and need to be booked in advance.This is an ideal place for people who enjoy walking. We have two lakes nearby were you can have a picnic, do some fishing, canoeing, or just go for a swim in the beautiful clear waters. There is a hang gliding or parasending school near by. You can go Quad biking up the mountains and enjoy the spectacular views. If you like shopping for designer shoes or cloths there are lots of Italian designer outlets in the area. It is an Ideal place if you are looking for a romantic break or a pampering holiday. If you are looking for a holiday were there are no children, Shambala is an ideal place for couples, singles or small groups.

Shambala Retreat is siuated two kilometres outside the medieval walled village of San Ginesio, there are plenty of restaurants, local bars near by, serving authentic local dishes & drinks. You can also dine in our restaurant at Shambala Retreat were we cook international food and cater for any special dietry requirements.
We are based within 15 minutes of Gualdo, Calderola, Sant Angelo in pontano, and the town of Sarnano. The surrounding landscape is known as the "Balcony of the Sybillini" We are surrounded by lots of old churches, castles and fortresses, art, history & architecture. In the summer we have the famous outdoor opera at Macerata & Trotting at montegiorgo. There are also many Medieval events & festivals throughout the year. The Monti Sibillini National Park with its Museum, Abbey, caves, waterfalls, flowers, glacier, sacred and magical areas are wonderful to visit.
We are 25 minutes away from the Ski slopes and 30 minutes from the town of Marcerata & Tolentino.

We are approximately 62 miles (100Km) away from Ancona Airport and 40 minutes drive from the coast.

Civitanova beach resort is 30 minutes away by car from Shambala Retreat and has a pebble beach, lots of excellent fish restaurants and the centre with lots of shops is just 10 minutes walk from the beach.
Porta San Giorgio is 45 minutes away by car, it has a lovely sandy beach with a Marina at the south end with lots of fresh fish restaurants. After a day on the beach you can go and vistit the shops in the centre of Porto San Giorgo.

There is a championship golf course near Ancona Approx 1hr 15mins by car. There is a golf driving range 30 minutes away by car.
