Villa is suitable for up to 8 adults or 8 adults and 2 extra children (who would be accommodated in a baby cot or foldaway bed). High chair, baby cot, baby buggy and foldaway bed available at no extra cost, but must be requested before arrival.

We recommend that you hire a car to make the most of the facilities in the area. We can arrange a personal meet and greet service from/to the airport in a registered private car and also supply baby/car chairs for the children. We can organise car hire for you with either pickup at the airport or delivery to the villa.

Faro town is a 15 minute drive there is a large shopping centre that offers good facilities. Most tours offer a pickup/dropoff bus service from Vale do Lobo to the attractions. Options include horse riding, fishing, yachting/sailing, shark, dolphin watching, 4x4 safari tours and Cultural visits. There is also an Aqua Park and a swim with dolphin experience (30 mins drive). In the villa is a well stocked folder with all the details of the attractions so you can read at leisure and book you choices.
In Almancil (5 minutes drive) has Apolonia Supermarket (excellent continental selection of foods and wine) they accept all major credit cards and next door is Aldi (cash only or Portuguese registered multi banco cards). Recently opened in Almancil is Pingo Doce a cheap & cheerful supermarket with a cafe / take away section too. In Faro (15 minutes drive) there is a large shopping centre with Jumbo and Pingo Doce supermarkets. Just up the hill in Loule there are several supermarkets including Continente, Modelo, Pingo Doce and Lidl.

This property is in a rural location and a car is essential. Please contact us if you would like help with car hire. There is also a log fire if hiring the property in winter.

The detached villa is set on a large plot, there are several outdoor shady terraces to enjoy the sunshine, mature planting, private large heated swimming pool, swing set and climbing frame for children, calcada entrance and security gates.

Ancao beach is an easy 10 minute stroll through the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve. It is a safe, clean, 'blue flag' beach for families. Restaurants and bars, shops and toilet facilities are available at the beach too. There are sunloungers are for hire.
