Parkview holiday home and selfcatering accommodation in Melrose Scotland. Our holiday rental home in Melrose is located just 2 minutes walk from the centre of Melrose Town where you can stroll at ease to view the small independent retailers and coffee-shops, then maybe sample some of the tasty food and drinks available from the towns many bars or restaurants. Melrose is situated on the River Tweed, one of Scotland's most famous salmon rivers, but equally known for it's superb trout fishing. The River Tweed is just 5 minute walk from our holiday rental and is very popular with fisherment enjoying a short-break to brush up their fishing skills. After a busy day exploring Melrose town or the River Tweed, return to our homely Parkland holiday rental accommodation and enjoy some quality relaxing time at leisure, or prepare for your next day if you intend to visit a nearby abbey or one of the many other historical monuments around the area. Melrose Abbey which dates back to the tenth century is one of the most visited historical monuments in Scotland,but the Abbey aside you can visit Abbotsford House home of Sir Walter Scott and a host of other interesting place all within walking distance of our holiday home.As this is the Scottish Borders and Reiver country there are many Castles and towers close by each with there own story to tell. Floors Castle in Kelso is the home of the Duke of Roxburghe and said to be the largest home in Scotland.Traquaire House in Innerleithin claims to be the oldest. |

Parkview holiday home is situated on the edge of the delightful Gibson Park area of Melrose which has two acres of wonderful parkland and tree's to explore. The area boasts 2 well equipped children's play areas, together with 3 all-weather floodlit tennis courts which are ideal for holidaymakers to practice their skills during a weekend break or holiday. |

Our Home is often used as a base for exploring the area by foot or bicycle . Melrose and the Borders has some of the most scenic footpaths and highland trails in all Scotland and its only a short walk into the center of town. |

We have 21 golf courses in the borders region, which includes 2 championship courses which have played host to many tour events. |
