The 2 Bedroom cottage is attached to the farmhouse on a working farm. We have highland cattle and sheep, the views from the farm are lovely with the Campsie fells to the South and Ben Lomond to the west. The cottage is ideally situated less than an hours drive from Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh. The cottage has one double bedroom and one twin room, a large bathroom with shower and bath. A dining room and a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge. We can provide a travel cot, highchair and stair gates. Sorry we do not accept pets and smoking is prohibited inside the cottage. The cottage is available all year as it has double glazed windows, oil fired central heating and a log burning stove which makes it a cosy and comfortable retreat in the winter as well as an ideal summer location with fishing, golfing, cycling routes and many lovely walks near at hand. Additional facilities at the cottage include; Sky TV with DVD and hi-fi, games and books. The kitchen has an electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, Electric kettle, Iron/Ironing board. The cottage also has internet access. The bedrooms are comfortable and have fitted robes and ample drawer space with hairdryer. All towels and bed linen are provided. The room is central heated by one radiator below the window. Reception Rooms: The lounge is very comfortable with twin sofas, sky TV, DVD player, CD player and we also have internet access (wired). The room is centrally heated there is also a wood burning stove, we provide wood and peat free of charge. The dining room has a solid pine dining table and chairs that would seat six people. There is a sideboard and ample storage, we also provide books and DVD's and games. The lounge is south facing and looks onto open fields, the dining room looks onto the back garden and adjacent fields. There is a small garden room that looks onto the patio which is accessed via the lounge. Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped with large fridge Freezer, washing machine, electric oven and hob. Dishwasher, toaster and electric kettle and microwave.The Entertainment Facilities: The cottage has sony widescreen tv with sky movie channels and childrens tv programmes. Internet access is wired.
