Our traditional Slovenian farmhouse is set off a quiet country road with spectacular views of the Julian Alps, moments away from Tolmin, in the beautiful Soca Valley. The house has a large garden with a decked BBQ area and to the rear of the property is forest with numerous trails for walking. The house is arranged over three levels: The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen and living and dining space; the second floor has a large double bedroom and bathroom with bathtub/shower and washing machine; the third floor has a large double bedroom with exposed stone work, single bedroom and a bathroom. Along with the three main bedrooms that can sleep five there is a sofa bed in the living room that can sleep two. By special arrangement a further sofa bed could be used in one of the double bedrooms (Sleeps 7 to 9 people). The house has a large garden with a decked BBQ area and to the rear of the property is forest with numerous trails for walking. Facilities include: Satellite TV with English German and Slovenian channels; DVD player (including a selection of movies in both formats). Mini stereo system with Radio and CD. Kitchen including fridge with freezer; coffee maker; gas hob and electric oven; kettle, toaster, blender. Iron and ironing board. Washing machine and clothes airer. Hair dryer. Bed linen, duvets and towels. Wood burning traditional stove (wood supplied), electric heaters and underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathrooms. To the rear of the property there is a decked BBQ area with patio table and chairs. There is parking adjacent to the property for two cars as well as a pizzeria/bar nearby in the village. A mobile grocery visits the village weekdays selling basic provisions and there are numerous grocery stores and restaurants etc in the vicinity (5 minutes by car). [Hide Description]

Booking Procedure
To book this property you need to send the owner a 20% deposit with the balance due two weeks before arrival. A damage deposit of Euro 200 is also required which can be paid upon arrival. This is fully refundable if there is no damage to the property as a result of your stay. It is possible for the house to sleep nine by prior arrangement at a cost of Euro 100 extra per week.

| Local Activities | Hang Gliding, Hiking, Horse Riding, Mountain Biking, Rafting, Walking, The Soca Valley is famous for its adventure activities. Paragliding, Hang Gliding, River Rafting, Canyoning and Sky Diving are just a few of the adrenallin thrills on offer here. However, many visitors are content to hike in Triglav National Park, tour the wineries of Goriza Brda or use the area as a base for exploring the rest of the country. There is a car train which goes to Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj in thirty minutes. If you want to go further afield there is a stunning drive over mountian passes into Austria and Italy is a short drive away. The Soca Valley is famous for its adventure activities. Paragliding, Hang Gliding, River Rafting, Canyoning and Sky Diving are just a few of the adrenallin thrills on offer here. However, many visitors are content to hike in Triglav National Park, tour the wineries of Goriza Brda or use the area as a base for exploring the rest of the country. There is a car train which goes to Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj in thirty minutes. The house is right beside walking, cycling, mountain biking, pizzeria/bar. All bed linen and Towels are provided. The linens and towels are changed once a week for stays of longer than one week. A light clean is also done at this time. Additional cleaning is available for Euro 8 per hour. |

The farmhouse is located in the heart of the Soca Valley with stunning views of the mountains of Triglav National Park in the small village of Ciginj which is five minutes away from Tolmin or Most na Soci by car. The Soca River and the Lake at Most na Soci are only five minutes away by car and there is an interesting walk up to church at the top of the nearby hill Mengore which affords spectacular views of the area. Julian Alps inside the National Park of Triglav above the beautiful Lake of Bohinj is Tolmin, a small town in the Slovenian Alps. This is a very popular place for paragliders and many other sports like rafting, cycling, climbing etc. ... |

The apartment is easily accessible from airports Ljubjana 40mins Easy Jet, Triesta Italy 90 mins, Salzburg 2 hrs both Ryan Air. |
| Beaches |
The nearest beaches are in Italy up the coast from Trieste (45 mins to 1 hour). It is also possible to drive to the Slovenian coast in about 90 minutes. However, most locals just use the Soca River banks as thier beach and there are numerous other rivers and lakes in the area which are good for swimming. |

There is golf approximately 30 minutes away in Bovec. |
| Skiing |
There are several ski hills in the vicinity (30 to 45 minutes away). |
| Horse Riding |
There are several riding schools in the area which offer trips along the Soca River and up into the foothills of the Julian Alps. The world famous Lipicia Horse Farm is located a 45 minute drive away and is a must for any horse lover. It is possible to combine this with a trip to the UNESCO world heritage site of the Skojan Caves - one of the world's largest caves complete with a river running through the bottom. |
