Some of these activities are in the Bay of Palamos but ballooning, hang gliding, para gliding are about 45 mins drive to the north.
Horse riding is local but outside the town. All of these activities have costs except of course walking. This area has several great "rutas", pathways that are maintained and signposted.

We provide all bedlinen and kitchen dish-towels but not towels.

Nearest airport is Girona about 27 kilometres.

Palamos equals beaches. The main beach starts at the port and goes round the bay for about 2 kilometres, sandy all the way. All the way round is a delightful beachfront promenade with bars, shops and restaurants. At both the north and south ends of the bay you can continue along the coastal pathway to some other picturesque sandy beaches and rocky coves. Remember this is the Costa Brava, the rugged coast so the shoreline is indented with dozens of bays and coves.
To the north are the shallow waters of La Fosca Beach, the little fishing hamlet of Salguer and the open expanse of the totally unspoilt Platja de Castell, saved from development by local protest about 10 years ago.

The following activities are within easy access in the town:
Horseriding, karting, scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, cycling.
And the following are within half-an-hour by car:
Golf, tennis, parachuting, sky-diving, paintball, water park.
