Description of Holiday Townhouse
All owners will say how nice their place is and so do I. But for your own "peace of mind" I have feedback from over 20 previous guests and they tell you what it's really like.
WITH AN AVERAGE OF ONLY 40 DAYS OF RAIN A YEAR AND A WONDERFULLY MILD CLIMATE IN OUR WINTER, MAKES THIS PART OF SPAIN AN IDEAL GETAWAY THOUGHOUT THE WHOLE YEAR AND IT'S ONLY 15 MINUTES FROM MURCIA AIRPORT.
The house is in a quiet road of Villas and Houses and we have parking for one car under the pergola covered drive in the front garden.
Furnished to the very highest of standards, this is more a home than the normal holiday let.
Fully centrally heated for those chilly winter nights.
The very large "PRIVATE" upstairs terrace, has a quality table and 4 chairs, a BBQ, 4 loungers and potted plants. Access is via the landing or the sliding patio doors from the delightful bedroom with its kingsize bed.
The downstairs patio has a table and 4 chairs and overlooks the garden/pool area. Both areas have outside lighting.
All the furniture is quality solid wood and leather. A 32" LCD Flat Screen television and DVD are provided for those nights in.
For laptop owners, theres an internet connection to the house phone with an Ethernet cable (not supplied)
The kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, oven with grill and 4 ring ceramic hob, cafetiere, toaster, sandwich maker etc.
The downstairs bathroom has a bidet, shower cubicle, toilet and sink.
The main bathroom is next to the Master bedroom and has a full bath with shower over with glass screen, bidet, toilet, sink with mirror and lights over and a shaving point. In the cupboard under the sink, you will find a hair dryer.
As you would expect, there is an abundance of flowers around the complex.

Golf Facilities
La Torre Golf Resort was designed by Nicklaus Design, and offers 18 holes, par 68 with four sets of tees. Provisional distances: (Black) 5,350m; (Blue) 4,934m; (White) 4,422m; (Red) 3,822m. It features over five hectares of sophisticated bunkers that separate the holes, creating strategic points which provided added value to the shots. Plus, a denser grass was planted around the bunkers, creating the optimum wind shot effect.
La Torre Golf Resortís course has 18 holes combining different obstacles that compels you to use all your clubs and put into practice your talent. Around the course you will find all kinds of services to practice golf and improve it: including the club house, a pro-shop, driving range and golf school.
Three lakes complete the exuberant landscape of this course. One of the shortest rounds the La Torre Golf Resort offers makes this course ideal for both average players as well as those with a high handicap.
Scuba Facilities
All diving courses at our Murcia base are conducted to PADI standards. PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world leader in diving education. Around 70% of scuba diving certifications world-wide are issued by PADI. PADI diving qualifications are internationally recognised.
The coastal waters of Murcia are ideally suited for teaching diving skills.
We run regular Discover Scuba (Try Dive), Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver courses through the season. We offer PADI's new e-learning on-line Open Water Course - where you can study the theory and take the exams at your own pace and in your own home.
We also conduct referrals - so you can complete the theory and pool dives at a dive centre close to home and then finish your course with us.
We guarantee small classes (maximum of 4 students per Open Water course)
Our courses include all instructional materials, any equipment required and scuba diving insurance

Horse Riding Facilities
Horse riding: Rancho de la Fuente. Equestrian centre situated in the town of Los Belones that offers regional competitions, treks, a Pony Club, initiation classes, show jumping and dressage. The site includes an arena and stables. Professional instructors and guides aid in teaching and excursions. Excursions include treks through the scenic surrounding areas of Los Belones and through the beautiful protected virgin beaches

THE MAGNIFICENT UNSPOILT COAST OF THE MAR MENOR IS A SHORT DRIVE OF ABOUT 12-15MINUTES FROM LA TORRE. NO KISS ME QUICK HATS HERE. THANK GOODNESS. About the world famous mud of the Mar Menor
The particular climatic conditions of the Mar Menor, the long hours of sunlight and the high level of salt n the water, have created, in the farth north part of the lake, known as La Puntica, a mud known for its therapeutic value. The last analysis carried out by the University of Murcia in 1995 found that these sediments contain a high percentage of calcium, magnesium, potassium and flouride, as well as chlorine and sulphur. This percentage is far superior to the normal values found in this type of water with such a high level of salinity. The tests also show that there are high levels of fine and very fine sands (slime and clay), the basis of the healing attributes of this mud. The PH varies between 7.12 and 8.45.

The nearest airport is San Javier Murcia (MJV) which is a 15 minute drive to La Torre.
Alicante airport and ferry port are less than a one hour drive to La Torre.
A route is provided from both places, prior to taking your holiday.
