There are mulitiple restaurants, bars, clubs, theme parks around the area in a distance of 300 meters, therefore a car would be a nice commodity.

Extra Notes on Accommodation
Location

Well, lots of reasons. Some of them are the same as for any other Spanish coastal area, like good beaches, the climate, friendly people, lots of fresh seafood, tapas. Then there are some reasons more specific to the Costa del Azahar, one being that the places on this coast are not at all comparable to the resorts you find on the more southern Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol. The tourism booms of the last century went largely past this area, airports were not being built and a two to three hour transfer on a coach was probably not the ideal scenario for the package tourist of the 70's. Another reason are the beautiful interior regions just behind the Orange Blossom Coast, called Baix Maestrat - excellent territory for rural tourism, including walking, off roading, horse riding, cycling. Plus you could easily combine this with a beach holiday, as it is only a short drive from the coast until you reach these unspoilt inner regions. Again, this has to do with a lack of development in

How to get there

Marina D΄Or Resort is located in Spain's beautiful Costa del Azahar near Oropesa Del Mar. It is the perfect location for exploring and enjoying Spain's Mediterranean coast as it lies midway between Valencia and Barcelona. The closest Airport is at Valencia which takes approximately 60 minutes by car to reach the resort, and the nearest Train station is in Oropesa just 4kms from the apartment. Transport links to Apartment Marina D'Or are excellent with good train routes (Renfe Trains renfe/), bus links (Alsa National Express, alsa.es/portal/site/Alsa) and an excellent road network if you intend driving to the resort.

Beaches

The beach is located 150 m from the apartment and stretches along the full width of the resort, making it a superb place for swimming and an ideal area for long enjoyable walks in the sunshine.
