This lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom self catering apartment is situated on the much sought after La Reserva de Marbella residential complex, 30 minutes drive from Malaga and 10 minutes to Marbella Town. The decor is of a light contempoary style and accommodates up to 6 people. The main bedroom has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and a chest of draws. The second bedroom has two single beds and the same features as the main bedroom. There is dining table and seating for six and to the exterior, a large sun terrace with a barbeque and a table seating six.Sun loungers are also provided. The bathrooms are fully tiled with shower attachments and bidets. The living area comprises a two seater and three seater sofas, of which, the three seater converts to a comfortable double bed. There is airconditioning/heating in the lounge and also in both bedrooms. For entertainment there is satellite TV, video, DVD and a music system. The kitchen is of a modern standard comprising fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. The cupboards are well stocked with crockery and utensils. The apartment vista are hill-top mansions and panoramic views of mountains. The complex is well maintained with landscaped gardens. There is also underground parking. The communal pools and jacuzzi are just yards from the apartment and are maintained on a daily basis. Booking Procedure

Once your booking is comfirmed you will need to pay a non returnable deposit which represents 25% of the rental fee. The balance plus £100 breakage deposit (returnable) is payable 8 weeks before your arrival. The security deposit will be returned within 2 weeks of your departure and is to cover (the unlikely event) of problems with damage, breakages or loss of keys etc. Cancellation charges More than 8 weeks prior to arrival - no charge (apart from loss of 25% non refundable deposit) 4-8 weeks prior to arrival - 50% of total rental rate 2-4 weeks prior to arrival - 75% of total rental rate Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival - 100% of total rental rate. Keys, directions and any other useful information will be forwarded to you at least 2 weeks before your arrival. This is a brief overview, but we will send you our detailed terms and conditions and a booking form when a booking is is confirmed.

Here you will also find information about local taxis, facilities and entertainment. The apartment is on the ground floor and is very child friendly as is the whole complex. The large terrace area has a table and seating for six. There are also sun loungers and a barbeque is this area. There are also poolside chairs and a sun umbrella in the apartment. This accommodation would suit most people, but being on a hill would probably not be suitable for very elderly or infirm persons. We also feel that although amenities are within walking distance, a car is need.

Local Activities

There is a nice bar/restaurant at the foot of the complex called Anki's. It serves a good international cusine and has a funky, friendly atmosphere. They often provide entertainment such as bands and vocal acts. There is also a good Chinese/Cantonese restaurant, The Mandarin, in the same vacinity. This provides a friendly atmosphere and service with views of Cabopino golf course. Also in this area there is a well stocked supermarket, Opencor, open 365 days a year from 8.00 am to 2.00 am. There are plenty of bars/restaurants and shops in other areas close by such as Cabopino and Elviria. There is a large shopping complex towards Marbella, just 10mins drive, called La Canada. Here you will find many different retail shops and a large supermarket. You can also go Ten Pin Bowling or see a film at the multiplex cinema there. Marbella town also has a large shopping centre.

Cleaning Services / Towels and Linen

Towels and extra linen are provided, however you will need to bring your own beach towels. The property is cleaned, towels and linen changed once a week.

Location

The apartment is located on a gated residential urbanisation complex, surrounded by well maintained landscaped gardens, views of hill-top mansions and mountains. The area has a relaxing unhurried feel about it.


How to get there

The apartment is only 30mins drive from Malaga airport on the N-340/A7 coast road. Full directions will be provided when you book.


Beaches

There some fine beaches within a few minutes drive of the apartment.Cabopino harbour and beach resort is a lovely setting for dining with some excellent restaurants along the quay side and also on the beach.Elviria beach is a lovely strech with some good restaurants. If you wish to spoil yourself visit the exclusive Nikki beach at the Don Carlos beach and golf resort in Elviria. Sample fine cuisine and atmosphere and hire their four poster beds on the beach. A bit pricey, but well worth the experience. Towards Marbella, Funny beach is a nice strech with plenty of watersports and a Go Kart track. Marbella town has its own strech of sandy beaches, watersports,children's slides and restaurants. Further along the coast is Puerto Banus, famous for its large marina with just as large yachts,designer shops and restaurants. It is also a good place to people watch. Recntly discovered is Max Beach at Riviera del sol, with its restaurant, lounge bar, cafe and large terrace on the beach.

Golf

There are quite a number of championship golf courses in the Marbella area. The nearest ones to the apartment are Cabopino and Santa Maria in Elviria. They are both 5 minutes drive away. Cabopino was Inaugurated in April 2001. 18 holes with a par of 71 is short but very tight in places. Very scenic course with views to mountains and seas. Buggies obligatory but included in the price of green fee. The Santa Maria Golf Course traces the contours of a valley and offers distracting views over the Mediterranean. 18 holes of Par 70.

Skiing

The ski resort of Sol y Nieve is located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Andalucia. It is the most southerly ski resort in Europe and is small in comparison to other European resorts, even so, the resort hosted the 1996 world ski championships. The Sierra Nevada ski resort has numerous runs of varying difficulties to satisfy all skiing desires. Natural snow is supplemented by snow cannons on some runs. Being so far south, many skiers are pleasantly surprised to find the air
temperature is usually warmer than other resorts.There is an surprisingly active nightlife in the Sierra Nevada resort. Spaniards have a reputation for being 'night owls' and this can be witnessed even in a skiing resort. Most of the visitors come from Madrid and the cities of Andalucia, weekends and banks holidays are particularly busy.The skiing season is December to April.The Sierra Nevada resort is a 2 hour drive from Málaga airport.
