Nerja lies at the foot of the mountains at the eastern end of the Costa del Sol, just 45 minutes from Malaga. Airport, along the new main highway. Nerja’s centrepiece is the Balcon de Europa, a palm promenade with superb views of the coastline. There are no modern high rise developments to mar Nerja’s character. Within the town itself, there is a handful of small sandy coves and the main Burriana Beach is only 5 min walk from the apartment (excellent sea view from apartment balcony). The town centre is only 10 minutes walk away and there are a large variety of lovely restaurants and bars (including Tapas Bars). Accommodation: Beautifully maintained spacious apartment. 2 bedrooms one of which has a large double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds plus large double sofa bed in living room Bathroom with bath, shower and bidet. Fully fitted kitchen with microwave, electric wok, washing machine, fridge freezer etc. Very large living dining area leading out to spacious patio with amazing views of both the mountains and the sea. The tourist office is located at the landward en of the Balcon de Europa with very co-operative staff who will provide a useful town plan.

Extra Notes on Accommodation
Location

A place still exists on the Costa del Sol which lies between small coves untouched by development and surrounded by an impressive mountain scenery. There is a huge variety of restaurants and Bars in Nerja so you will be spoilt for choice.

How to get there

Malaga airport is 50km from Nerja and with the new motorway takes 45/50 minutes by car.

Beaches

Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water.

Golf

Bavarian Golf Course is 15 minutes drive from Nerja.

Scuba Diving

Nerja enjoys sparkling clear water and you will find all major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing.

Safety of both the horse and the rider are priorities for us and we make sure you are matched with a horse suitable for your level and experience.
A choice of rides is available ranging from novice to experienced and can be tailored to meet exact requirements dependant on whether you want a ride in the mountains, a longer hack through the country side and on to the beach or a week long trek across the mountains. The area is beautiful all year round but please note we recommend avoiding July and August, as those months are usually too hot to ride. The timings of rides depend upon the time of year and weather conditions.
