Description of Holiday Apartment

The apartment is situated in a peaceful and exclusive area of Calahonda but benefits from easy access to the very popular and comprehensive El Zoco Centre only 5 minutes walk away, through a privated gated entrance.This houses the superb supermarket [ Supersol ] where fresh produce of all kinds are available daily, to make your stay complete. In El Zoco, there is a wide variety of cafes, bars, restaurants as well as a delightful range of shops.

Malaga Airport is approximately 30 minutes drive away. You may choose to hire a car directly from the airport or take a taxi which will cost approximately 40 Euros. Alternatively, you may wish to rent your car from one of the many car rental outlets in Sitio da Calahonda.

The dining room is adjacent to the fully equipped modern kitchen which has fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven grill and hob, juicer, coffee grinder / maker and all the everyday conveniences for those wishing to cook. On the balcony off the kitchen there is a gas barbecue for al-fresco cooking.

The lounge is equipped for your entertainment with Satellite TV, DVD, Video and CD player and leads out onto your own private balcony.

The balcony is furnished with patio table and chairs and sun beds so you may enjoy your southerly view of the pool and gardens and the seaview of which Calahonda Beach is only a 10 minute walk away.

The stairs leading from the lounge take you up to the bedrooms and bathroom.

The main double bedroom has fitted wardrobes and has the additional feature of a small south facing balcony.

The second twin bedroom also has fitted wardrobes and the benefit of patio doors opening onto its own balcony to enjoy the morning sun.

The bathroom is fully tiled and has the added facility of a shower.

Spain is after England the country with the highest golf course density in Europe. Especially the Costa del Sol is famous for its numerous and world-class courses. One of the reasons why golf lovers keep on coming back is the overall mild climate that allows playing not only in summer but also during the winter months.
Calahonda is one of the most popular golf centres on the "Costa del Golf". The region became popular during the eighties as a winter golf resort which had as a result that within six years (between 1985 and 1991) a total of 17 new golf courses were built. Back then there were 30 golf courses located on a stretch of 50 miles (about 80 km). Due to the wide range of top notch golf courses in such as small area and of course the warm climate that allows you to play throughout the year; the resort became the most popular destination for Northern European golfers.

Calahonda is especially popular with those who like to get tanned on the beach and golf lovers. The urbanisation features approximately 27 kilometres of coastline with a total of 24 wonderful beaches. In addition to lazing in the sun all day you also have the possibility to practise water sports. On the Calahonda beaches you will find jet-skies and facilities for sailing, balloon flights or cable skiing. After an exhausting ride or a long day in the sun one can enjoy fresh and delicious seafood that is offered along the coast from Calahonda to Marbella.
