Nearest airport is Bandaranaike International Colombo at about 4 hours driving from the villa.
Sri Lanka Airlines is offering an air taxi service by seaplane, from the international airport it selfe to Koggala takes about half hour and from Koggala to Villa Cottan about 10 min. driving.

one of the finest beaches in the whole wide world is in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka, where by now most places have recovered fairly well after the tsunami disaster.
Somehow the waves are a little stronger now and also the beach is a little bit more steep.
3 hours from Cottan Villa:
Yala West (Ruhuna) National Park is well recognized as one of the best parks in the world to observe and photograph leopards. The park covers an area of over 100.000 hectares and there is also a substantial elephant population along with spotted deer, sambar, wild buffalo, sloth bear, jackal, mongoose, pangolins and crocodiles.
