The Apartments are located at the start of Palm Jumeirah are easily accessible from Sheik Zayed Road and Dubai Marina as they are situated directly on the trunk road of Palm Jumeirah. Dubai Marina, Knowledge City, Media City and Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR) are all within easy reach and just a few minutes drive from the apartments. The Mall of the Emirates is an approx 10 mins drive or Taxi and there are several entrances and exits to choose from. You'll find quality jewellers shops, large well known stores like Carrefour, Debenhams, Harvey Nicholls selling designer goods, plus other popular stores and trendy boutiques. The famous Ski-Dubai and a numerous food and retail outlets compliment an array of coffee shops and cafes.

A Taxi or car rental journey from Dubai Airport normally takes 30-40 minutes depending on the traffic. Flights to Dubai arrive daily from most countries around the world. British Airways, Emirates and Virgin are just some the airlines that depart from the UK. Alternative airlines fly to Abu Dhabi and are sometimes cheaper but it's 1.5 - 2 hours from Dubai. Neither Dubai or Abu Dhabi have trains, but a new Metro system above ground is now well under construction and is expected to open in 2009.
Dubai has over 3000 reasonably priced Taxis. Some helicopter transfers are possible, usually with prior permission for your destination.

The beaches in Dubai are mostly long stretches of unbroken soft white sand and perfect for beach bathing. On the Shoreline beaches, life guards are on duty and attendants are on site for assistance with beach loungers and sunshades.

Scuba diving in Dubai is very well managed and a popular activity for newcommers and experienced divers alike.Dive locations around the UAE include those at neighbouring emirate, Fujairah, situated on the east coast. Like all dive centres, scuba divers and snorkellers are welcome and accepted for training courses or permitted to join pre-arranged trips. In the resort of Al Aqah, a new Scuba-Dive Centre has recently opened and proving to be the main operation centre for scuba-diving in the UAE region. Horse riding is very popular in Dubai and is a very traditional sport. Several riding centres exist - 'Dubai Equestrian Centre' and the 'Jebel Ali Hotel' Riding Stables.
