Jumeirah Lake Towers is a large development comprising high rise residential towers situated just off the Sheikh Zayed Road on the opposite side to Dubai Marina. There are only apartments in Jumeirah Lake Towers and consists of mainly high rise residential apartments and a small amount of commercial offices. Many investors bought apartments in Jumeirah Lake Towers during the boom pre-2008 and let them out for short or long term holiday rentals.
Jumeirah Lake Towers is actually conveniently situated and accessible to most places, however, you will need some form of transport to travel anywhere, because unfortunately there is nowhere really within walking distance. There is a Dubai Metro system that has a station at Jumeirah Lake Towers but as of 2010 this was not complete. Some apartments in Jumeirah Lake Towers will have views of Emirates Golf Course, whilst others will no doubt be overlooking the 6 lane high-way.
